We had our first USG scan on 4th November 2011. The scan is needed for two purposes i.e. to date the foetus and to assess the Down’s syndrome/唐氏综合症.
The Nuchal translucency (NT) scan’s result shows a good sign that is the foetus is in the low-risk category for the Down’s syndrome. It was measured at 1.7mm. According to the sonographer, this is of the low risk category. However, Yuan also took the blood test to further confirm this result. *poor her, so many blood test*.
If we don’t receive any news in 5 days after the blood test, then it will be a good news. *the doctors will only contact us immediately whenever something urgent/bad happened*
Ok, that’s the news for today. Now, the foetus wants to say a bit :D.
